Since 1958, Allen Christian has been in the automotive business.Allen and the late Bud Taylor sold preowned vehicles at their Taylor and Christian Auto Sales lot. In 1978, Allen went into the new car business, purchasing the Buick, Oldsmobile and GMC franchises. He added the Pontiac franchise in 1983. In February 1998, the dealership opened the Allen Christian Preowned Center, located at Catalpa and Business 60 in Dexter.  For more than 50 years, Allen Christian has been a vital part of his community. His wife Thelma and sons, Denny, Terry and Bruce have been actively involved in the dealership since young ages. The business continues to be family-owned and family-operated.
